Hardest working 🐶🐶 in Ireland

We had the opportunity to see a sheepdog herding & demonstration at @caherconnell_fort.

It is amazing to witness how these working dogs listen to whistles and voice commands, expertly herding sheep into a circle or getting them into their pens. Plus, we got to meet and pet the dogs at the end.

Travel dreams into a travel career ✈️🌍✨️

As I get ready to start another trip with @ftlotravel, I find myself looking back on the journey that led me to this moment.

I have loved traveling since a young age, but I always sort of wondered if I could turn it into my profession. The younger version of me was so confused about how to make it happen. I thought it was something for influencers and sort of wrote it off as a passion.

I started working in a travel adjacent industry in 2014 with @greenheart_travel, which sort of awoke my interest in pursuing travel more professionally.

Then in 2019, I began a masters course in tourism with @cbsinternationalbusinessschool. There were a number of dark moments, getting a tourism degree during a global pandemic, but I came out the other side.

The job market wasn't amazing after graduation, so I experimented with different jobs. I worked with @solofemaletravel doing tour operations and then I stumbled into tour guiding at @art_of_touring. And now I balance a number of different travel jobs that keep me on the road often, but always working directly with travelers and guests.

Needless to say, I am indeed very proud and very thankful that I kept going. Keep going 💖

📍Iguazu Falls

On the border of Brazil and Argentina, Iguazu Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in the world. These waterfalls are truly a stunning natural phenomenon that draw millions of visitors each year.

It really is hard to believe how incredible they are!

Iguazu Falls are nearly 3x as wide as Niagara Falls and Victoria Falls, with a staggering average flow rate of 1,500 cubic meters of water falling every second.

That is nearly 400,000 gallons of water PER SECOND 🤯🤯

Prior to going to Iguazu, I had heard A LOT about the beauty of the falls and that it was a must-visit place in Brazil + Argentina, but I knew very little about what the experience would feel like while I visited.

After visiting, I can confirm that Iguazu Falls is even more beautiful than expected; but there were a lot of other surprises and disconfirmed expectations that I experienced during my visit. You can read all my thoughts and suggestions for visiting Iguazu Falls in my blog.

Mesmerizing ✨️🤯

I first saw the work of @refikanadol on Instagram a few years ago, and was captivated right away. He plays with visual art powered through AI and algorithms. Looking almost like waves, the visuals are played on massive screens, creating these dynamic & colorful works of art.

When I saw he had an exhibition in Düsseldorf, I knew I had to go and see his art for myself. Hosted at @kunstpalast, there are 5 different screens showing different works.

I absolutely loved the experience, especially Machine Hallucinations that you see here. I cozied up in a bean bag chair and watched the art for around 20 minutes. The movement, the colors, the ever changing designs-- it was all so cool 💖

The exhibition is on for a few more weeks if you want to visit for yourself!
